The final home of Urgyen Sangharakshita set in the grounds of Adhisthana.
Sangharakshita lived here for the final five and a half years of his life. Urgyen House is open for visits and welcomes pilgrims and visitors in arrangement with Adhisthana. Please see the visits page for further info.

Throughout 2025 we will be celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of Urgyen Sangharakshita with a year-long programme of events across Triratna honouring the remarkable life and work of its founder and guide.
The Triratna Video Library is releasing a never-before-seen talk by Bhante on the first of every month in 2025. The second release on 1 February is called 'Wesak and After'.

Urgyen House
Sangharakshita’s living room, conservatory and bedroom remain undisturbed since his death in 2018 and offer a unique opportunity to connect with Triratna’s founder and guide.
The main lobby area presents displays and a space to sit and read. A shrine room is available for practice and ceremonies.
Exhibitions
The dining room of Urgyen House is now the venue for changing exhibitions exploring Sangharakshita’s life and times. The exhibitions can also be explored here on the exhibition pages of the website.
