Invitation to the launch of ‘The Three Jewels’

'Terry came in a very low state, and presently collapsed. Went down to Kentish Town together. Dull, rainy day. Terry phoned Trill, but still no proof. Promised for 12.30. Terry collapsed again. Altogether a bad day. Eventually got the proof of the invitation and found that it had been set up in the wrong type. No time to change. Terry was in such a state that I could not do any writing, as I had hoped, so spent the rest of the afternoon typing poems. Terry again talked about suicide.'
